Local Community and Military Leaders visited the Pentagon

Fort Lee leadership and regional partners met at the Pentagon with senior Army leaders to advance the Defense Community Enclave (DCE)—a transformational public-private partnership connecting mission readiness, quality of life, and regional economic growth.

The 29 January engagement focused

on next steps to move the Enclave into execution, including use of Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) authority and exploration of innovative approaches to energy resilience and data infrastructure that support long-term installation and community needs.

This milestone reflects strong alignment between Fort Lee, Army headquarters, and the surrounding communities—and continued momentum to turn vision into action.
